Rail service to King of Prussia has been a consideration of SEPTA, Upper Merion, Montgomery County and other governing bodies for decades now.
The latest proposal (late 2015) is to branch the Norristown High Speed Line between Hughes Park and DeKalb Street. The line would run just north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike with stops in Upper Merion, at the King of Prussia Mall and at spots in the King of Prussia Business Park and adjoining the Valley Forge Convention Center and Casino.
